Do you claim a basic personal amount in more than 1 province if you work in 2 provinces in the same tax year?
I have begun work in Alberta already in 2018 and claimed my basic personal amount on my TD1AB form. Now I am beginning employment in BC and am filling in my TD1BC form. I am wondering if I claim the basic personal amount on my TD1BC form as well? Do you pay taxes in both provinces if you work in both within 1 year? I don't want to pay more taxes than I have to and I'd rather not have to pay a big chunk next year when I file my taxes. Thanks!
