When Netfiling my return I get an error message and CRA won't accept the file as it is. Why won't the software fix the error?
I have a T4 slip with no income in box 14, but it shows tax deducted in box 22 and EI Premiums in box 18. The error message is due to no income in box 14, however, the money earned is not supposed to be income on this T4.
No, but I did get in touch with a Turbotax rep and he suggested putting a $1 amount in box 14. The filing went through with that minor change. I will be anxiously waiting on CRA to comment on the $1.
