Neither income that is earned on a reserve by a
Status Indian or an allowance received as an emergency volunteer are not
taxable, but they are required to calculate the Working Income Tax Benefit/ Canada
Workers Benefit. This income is put on your Schedule 6 automatically by
TurboTax based on your T-slips, so you don’t need to enter anything there if
line applies to you.
