I had an investment loss of X0,000.00 can I claim anything on my taxes. Alberta Securities is investigating the fraud and I am waiting. I paid off the loan I had so that I wasn't paying interest expense, as money I did have invested was not paying the same amount of interest as the loan for the borrowed money was costing me.
