A has a T2200 stating in question 5 that she received a $3,400 vehicle allowance that was included on T4, Her actual expenses is $3,500.What amount to claim on tax return

You will not claim either amount on her tax return.

The amount to claim will need to be calculated from the entries you make in the Employment Expenses section under "Income". Complete this section with the information regarding the vehicle, kilometers used, and the amounts from receipts,(fuel, maintenance & repair, insurance, etc), and TurboTax will calculate the exact amount of the eligible claim.

You will also be prompted to claim "CCA" (Capital Cost Allowance or Depreciation) on the vehicle used which could increase the claim higher than the $3,500 in actual expenses incurred.
