Are commissions paid to retired insurance agents considered self employed income?

entered commissions from T4A box 20.  initiates questions re business.  i am not in business i am retired.

Although you are no longer generating sales that create new commission income, technically, you would still be receiving commissions from prior self-employed activities that would still continue to be reported as self-employed (business) income.  You should still fill in the answers to the questions so as to enable a "commission" business income schedule to be properly completed.
