Are we considered commonlaw if we live together at my permanent address but they have not changed their permanent address, only their mailing address?

we lived together all of of 2018 but it is at my permanent address location. they have not changed their permanent address. are we common law?

I'm unsure what you mean by not changing "their permanent address", but if you live with someone for a period of 12 months, you are considered to be Common Law by the CRA. (The 12 month rule does not always apply if you have children together or have custody of a child).
