As a self-employee should I file my tax 2 times? “Income tax” and “the self-employment tax”? And Self-employed edition will calculate/file them together?

I was Uber driver in 2017.

Should I file my tax two times, “Income tax” and “the self-employment tax”?

With “Turbotax Self-employed” I can do both in one-step as in this video describes:

So, no-further steps for filing “Income Tax”?

As an Uber partner, you still only file one return. Your self-employment (business) information is recorded in the same return you would prepare every year. Think of it as just another page to fill out.

TurboTax Self-employed is the best choice for this as it offers step-by-step guidance for the Business section. Visit turbotax.ca/uber for a discount as well as tips for filing.
