Capital gain in Canada is taxed at 50%, but your software is taxing me at 100% of all my gain. can you please explain that to me thanks

Please make sure that you've only entered you capital gains amount in one spot. If you have this amount reported on a t-sip, you don't need to enter it again in the Capital Gains/Losses section.
