CRA's Auto-Fill My Return service is currently unavailable

The interview is not letting me use CRA Auto-Fill because it says "CRA's Auto-Fill My Return service is currently unavailable". I have disabled Adblock and Privacy Badger extensions in Chrome so I know the problem isn't on my side. Why is Auto-Fill unavailable and when will that change?

The CRA will open their Auto-fill service on February 20, 2017. Currently Auto-fill service is closed for yearly maintenance.

Transfer or carry forward from anything other than a prior year TurboTax return is not supported.

Today is January 27. Auto-fill is not open until February 20, 2017.

So Mohammed, you answer is go away and come back Feb 20th. How about instructions on how to "manually" fill?

Hi Rainyday, yes we need to wait until February 20th, as the government decided that would be the date to open this service.

As for instructions on manually filling T-slips, if you already have your t-slips, you can use TurboTax to fill them in today. If you need instruction on how to manually enter a specific t-slip or other information, let us know which version of TurboTax you are using and what data (t-slip/deduction/credit etc.) you need help to enter. we'll be happy to walk you through. You can also refer to our in-product help to get guidance on how to enter information by yourself.

On my copy of Turbo Tax Standard 2016 the option to use Auto Fill is not in the drop down menu under Income and Expenses.  Will that drop down link magically appear after February 20th?

How do you manually enter t4 info? There is no option for it..

In TurboTax Online and CD/Download versions, in the Profile section, answer Yes to the question 'Did you work?' and then check that you had a T4. Then, when you get to the Income section, TurboTax will guide you to enter your T4 info.

In TurboTax Free, select the Your Taxes section and then type 'T4' in the box at the top that says 'Tell us what you've got'. This will open up the T4 entry form for you.

Sorry TurboTax, but on CRA MyAccount it was posted an Warning "some CRA online services are in maintenance till Feb 13". It says nothing about Feb 20. What is happening?

The CRA announced Autofill and netfile service to be opened on Feb 20, 2017. You can see the official netfile announcement here http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/esrvc-srvce/tx/ndvdls/netfile-impotnet/menu-eng.html .

Now It is 20-Feb and I get the same error in TurboTax.
And this has nothing to do with NetFile submission. It is about doing the taxes with TurboTax online by using CRA's Auto-Fill My Return. Why is this error still in TurboTax?

Try selecting the Back button to step back one step and then select Next to get back to the Auto-Fill step.

I tried Back and Continue. Same error like in the original post screen shot. I just logged in. The same. Is this working for other users? Is the service CRA's Auto-Fill My Return based on each user, e.g is it not the same for everybody?

We've had many users successfully import their data from the CRA today. Can you sign out of TurboTax, clear your browser cache and try again?

I logged on a different computer and on different browsers for the first time, so no cached information. Still the same error message. "CRA's Auto-Fill My Return service is currently unavailable.". I need to do the taxes, I cannot wait. Is TurboTax able to fix this error? I need an ETA on this issue.

When I opened Turbo Tax today, it updated.  Then the autofill link was indeed there.  It worked perfectly for   my own MyAccount.  Download worked.  Then tried to do the same for me wife's MyAccount.  Could not log-in to her MyAccount.  There is either something wrong with her password, or the CRA service was unavailable.  I think the Turbo Tax software was working correctly.  My problem now seems to be at the CRA site.
