First time filer and net file not allowing me to file why?

Hello,

 

First-time filers are sometimes not eligible for Netfile, this might happens if the CRA has different information from yours. There are also some main

 restrictions and other restrictions which make the NETFILE not available for the taxpayers: 

  • you went bankrupt in 2019 or 2020 (does not include a proposal for bankruptcy)

  • you are a non-resident of Canada

@ameagleden Can you please provide more information about your problem? What is the exact error message that you are getting? Are you using TurboTax CD/Download or TurboTax Online?
