For the first tax return, do I need to literally separate envelops and the documents for each year?

For the first tax return, I cannot use netfile, so I have to submit the documents by mail. Do I need to literally separate envelops and the documents for each year? or I just can put all documents in one envelope?

It is highly recommended that you do not put all the tax returns that you are filing by paper in one envelope with their documents.  You should separate each tax return with its own documents and mail them in individually as suggested by the Canada Revenue Agency.
