Hello, as a non-resident I don’t have a SIN number and I just put zeros. Do I have to apply for a SIN number anyway?

If you do not have a SIN#, you enter 000 000 000, as a non-resident.
As for applying for one, you would have to contact the CRA.

Thank you! I know how to apply for it, I just wanted to check if I HAVE TO apply in order to get a refund, or it can be processed without it.

You can proceed without it! And you are most welcome.
