Why is the number that I enter on the T-Slips window on the T4 at line 16 not transferred correctly to Line 308 on Schedule 1 of the Federal Tax Form ?

It's a CPP calculation. Depending on how much was deducted during the year it depends on what amount will be reflected in line 308 in schedule 1.
