I am a youth housing mentor. I'm not considered an employee, I receive no payment, but my rent and some utilities are paid in exchange. Do I need to do anything special?

Those payments would be considered to be taxable benefits, and the total would be reported as income not on a T slip or as other income if the amounts are small.
