I am currently on Income Assistance and have not worked at all in 2022. I got a student loan in September22/and a few grants. Should I be expecting a refund ?

It tells me I should be getting over 2 grand and I cant figure out why.

If you were only on assistance and went to school- they may have included the Canada's Workers Benefit- which if you didn't work and went to school would not be entitled to. Do you have children, and are you claiming anything else?

Please review where you entered your T-Slips- making sure you entered the proper amounts in the right boxes. You should have one from social assistance, one from your school- Did you receive OSAP? if yes, you do not enter that on your income tax return.
