I am self-employed and do accounting services on a contract basis. I entered in industry code 5412 and it keeps stating the industry code is wrong.

I have tried other codes like 541, 54, 52, etc.  I cannot file without a code.

The industry code must be 6 digits. Try one of the following:

541212 - Offices of accountants; accountant, professional

541213 - Tax preparation services

541215 - Bookkeeping, payroll and related services

You can also look up your industry code on the Stats Can website: http://www23.statcan.gc.ca/imdb/p3VD.pl?Function=getVD&TVD=380372

Or you can use the search tools on the NAICS website: https://www.naics.com/search/
