I entered that I and my husband receive Canada pension benefits but when the T4A(P) Summary appears it says no T4A(P) entered. Why?

Canada Pension Benefits T4A(P) are received by myself and my husband and I cliqued that we get it.    In the T4A(P) Summary area it reads No T4A(P) entered for either of us

When you originally clicked that you and your husband received T4A(P)s, that checkmark was telling TurboTax to show you the page where you can enter your T4A(P) slips when you get to the Income section.

That checkmark was not entering T4A(P) information, it was just telling TurboTax to show you the T4A(P) page later down the line, as not everyone needs to see it.

Later, when you get to the Income section, the T4A(P) summary page will show up, and you can add individual slips and amounts.

To enter your T4A(P), click the button that says "Enter New T4A(P) for (Your Name)" or the button that says "Enter New T4A(P) for (Husband's Name)" on the bottom of the page where it says "No Information Entered".
