I have been trying for over a month access prior returns, to file 2016 to 2020 without success, I get only 2021 and 2022 even though I know I have those older ones.

To access your prior year's returns on TurboTax Online: 

1. Sign in to TurboTax Online

2. Scroll to Access your filed tax returns and select Open

3. This is where you’ll find the PDF copies of your filed returns.

Please Note: If you used more than one account in TurboTax online, when you filed prior returns: If so, the returns you are looking for maybe in another account.

To see all your user ids:

1. Go to the TurboTax Online sign-in page and select the I forgot my user ID or password link.
2. Enter your email address and select  Continue.
3. A list appears with the user IDs associated with the email address you entered.
