I have etrade stocks from my employer that sell to cover at every vesting period. Should I report them on the capital gains part? My t4 has vesting income not taxes I pai

I see on my T4 the income line 38 of the vesting, but I don't see anywhere the ~50% etrade "sell to cover" stocks, should I report them on capital gains section anyways?

If your not, you can contact the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to ask how the "sell to cover" stocks should be handled.

If you are in Canada or the United States, you can call the CRA at 1-800-959-8281. If you are elsewhere, you can call 613-940-8495. This page has more ways to contact the CRA: Contact the Canada Revenue Agency
