I received a commission cheque from a manufacture not my employer. When I enter in the amount it makes me fill out all the self employed info, but Im not self employed

I sold a piece of equipment at work and the manufacture sent me a commission cheque along with a t4a. I am not self employed

Certain types of income reported on a T4a slip are considered self-employment income by the CRA. https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/replies/3282160
