I worked as a student contractor for the government, CPP, EI etc. were deducted from my wages. Should i receive a t4 slip? It is not listed on my CRA webpage.

I worked as a student contractor (FSWEP) during the summer for the federal government. I lived in Ontario and worked in Quebec so QPP and other deductions were made from the province of Quebec on top of the usual EI CPP. I was on contract for 5 months, am I suppose to receive a t4 slip as I was still on their payroll but not an employee? My slip is not coming up on the CRA my page website.

Employers have until the end of February to submit information to CRA for employees. Make sure the employer has your current mailing address. Based on the deductions made from your wages the employer will be responsible to prepare a T4 for tax purposes.
