I would like to refund my money. l choose the free one and why did l get charge?

A basic return prepared in TurboTax Online Free costs $0.00, but if you add Plus to your return, or any other upgrades or extra features, you’ll need to pay for them.

Unfortunately, there is no way to downgrade a TurboTax product once you have upgraded it. You would need to create a new Free return and then re-enter your information.

To start a new return, select “Start a New Return” from under “My Accounts & Returns”. Once you have started your new return, you can select “View All Returns” from under “My Accounts & Returns”, and delete the unwanted return by clicking the small Trash Can next to it.

In the previous years, you might have completed the returns without upgrading. This year, you might have started with a basic free return, then added a Plus to your return, or any other upgrades or extra features, which will trigger a price to your product.

Once you pay for your upgrade and Netfile, you can't start over again or cancel the Netfile.
