I purchased a 15 license home and business software desktop turbo tax purchased from costco.
I only need one license. I want to give 5 to someone else. I already registered this box under my name on one computer. When I try to install this on my roommate computer, Error showing this license is associated to other account when my roommate uses his account.
If I use my credentials will it approve this license for my roommate to used?
If I use my credentials to install and approve the license will they see my tax return information?
Any cons of doing this if this works?
For next year, is there is single copy of the desktop version of home and business to avoid this issue?
In TurboTax Desktop, the License code is associated with a customer account. If it needs to be shared with someone else, the 2nd person who is installing the software needs to log in to the account that was use to register the code the 1st time.
