Me and my husband both were full time student in 2017, we got some amount on T4a,for 105 taxable income. Is amount shown in refund is ows to us or we would get a refund?

If you're asking whether you will get a refund with an amount in box 105 and this is your only income the answer is no.

If you see a red number that says “Balance Due” on the top left of the page, then you owe taxes.

If you see a green number that says “Refund” on the top left of the page, then you will get a refund.

One number on one slip usually doesn’t determine whether or not you’ll get a refund or need to pay.
