My 2019 notice of assessment includes my initial. The verification process doesn't show the initial. Does the middle initial need to appear so I can verify correct?

If the CRA has your name on file with the initial, then yes you may need to add it in order to file. To change it in TurboTax Online, select My Info> [Your Name]'s Personal Information from the left side menu. Click Continue to save any changes you made.
