My child has down syndrome. Do I claim her as a dependent with a disability? Disability amount transfer??
You are only able to claim the disability amount for your dependant if you have a Disability tax credit certificate (T2201) on file with the Canada Revenue Agency. Please see the following FAQ for instructions on how to claim the disability amount.
