My father passed away at the beginning of 2023. I did his taxes for him. I have to do his taxes again this year but i cant find deceased option from imprt

Sorry for your loss. If you mean you have already done your father's 2023 and wish to now do an optional return, then unfortunately, as it is for the same year, a transfer cannot be automatically done. If you did his prior return for 2022 and it was part of a spousal return, it cannot be transferred into a deceased return.
