My husband is an owner/operator for a transportation company. They pay his numbered company and then he draws his pay from the numbered company. Is he self-employed?
My husband does not set his own hours or salary or scout for work. All of that is done through the transportation company. He does own the truck and also pays his worker from the numbered company.

Does his numbered company deduct CPP, EI and taxes from his pay? If yes, and he receives a T4, he is an employee of his company. Is the numbered company a corporation?
If no deductions and no t4, he would be self-employed.
