    My son earned $64 by being an extra in a movie. he only has a t4a. why does he need to upgrade to turbotax standard?

    My son earned $64 by being an extra in a movie. he only has a t4a. why does he need to upgrade to turbotax standard?

    Because Free edition only deals with T4s.
    He is better off reporting this using a paper form from the post office.
    Report as Other Income and attach a copy of the T4a tothevreturn
