NETFILE can't submit. error code 50

You'll receive NETFILE error code 50 when filing your NETFILE return if the CRA thinks you’ve used invalid characters in your tax return's street address. This issue can usually be addressed in TurboTax by following these steps:

  1. From the Tax Home screen, select Personal Info > Edit.
  2. On the Your personal info summary screen, at Contact info, select Edit.
  3. On the Let's get your contact info screen, in the Street address field under What's Your Mailing Address, look for the invalid character(s) and remove them, then select Continue.

You can confirm the complete mailing address the CRA has on record for you in your CRA My Account.
