Thank you for choosing Turbotax,

if you are applying for the DTC on behalf of your child, you may act as the legal representative and fill out Part A of Form T2201

To claim a disability tax credit by TurboTax for your child,

1) Click the find button

2) Start typing "disability amount", click disability amount and click go

3)On the liability amount page, you will see the question. "If you had severe mental or physical impairment in 2020, you may be able to claim the disability amount"

4)if you qualify for this claim, click Yes

5)Next question "if yes, is this a first-year claim for you?"

6)Click Yes or No and then click continue to finish your disability amount.
