Previous turbotax versions
- I am unable to open my previous versions of TurboTax used to file previous years returns. I get error code TT414 which says I must update that version yet when I try to do so I get the error TT810 which refers me to your website??

The post above is an old post. We made changes to the forum a few months ago, which resulted in all old posts having their dates changed to October 2019.
We no longer have separate update files post for TurboTax 2019. If you can’t use the automatic update feature, you can uninstall and reinstall the software using one of the links on this page: https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/community/product-information/help/where-can-i-download-the-cd-...
The downloaded installer has the latest version of TurboTax 2019, so when you reinstall you will have all the current updates. Uninstalling to software will not delete any of your returns.
We are aware that some customers are having issues with the update feature in the program. It is an issue with the update servers, and our development team is working to resolve the issue ASAP. If you are experiencing an error with the update, you still may see the same error message after you reinstall. Cancel the automatic update or say No if it asks you if you want to update.
