On the T1 General, lines 162 and
135 are for Business Income, while line 104 is Other Employment Income. If you
got this income on a T-Slip, the box you enter the amount into determines where
the amount goes. You may want to double check your slips, just in case you put
something in the wrong box.
If have no slip for this income
and you entered the amounts in yourself, you may have put it into “Other
Employment Income”. Use the “Find” tool
(in the top right corner) and search for “employment”. Select “Employment
Status” from the list, and click the “Go” button. Here you can review if you
entered any “Other Employment Income”, and remove it if required.
To enter the amount as Business
Income, Use the “Find” tool to search for “self”. Select “Self-Employment” from
the list, and click the “Go” button.
