CRA services such as Auto-Fill and NETFILE are Free no matter which version of the software you use. When you pay the fee for TurboTax, you are paying to use the software to prepare your tax returns. You will need to create a new return if you want to use the Free version of TurboTax.
To start a new return, select “Start a New Return” from under “My Returns”. Once you have started your new return, you can select “View All Returns” from under “My Accounts & Returns” and delete the unwanted return by clicking the small Trash Can next to it.
