I thought Turbo Tax is free - why just before filing, am I being charged 19.00 and for my credit card information

Our TurboTax Free Online edition is free of charge for all income levels and types of returns. If you added a feature or upgraded to a paid for version of Turbotax, you cannot downgrade back to the Free version.

If it reads 'TurboTax Free' on your screen in the upper left corner by the logo, you're in our Free edition. You'll still need to pass through our "payment" section, but you won't be billed.

If it reads something other than 'Free' (ex. Standard or Premier, ect.), you didn't prepare your return in the TurboTax Free edition. If you'd prefer to, you'll need to start a new return. Here's how to do that: https://turbotax.community.intuit.ca/replies/3288128

No I did not upgrade my order I was being pressured and I want to do my taxes for free if I have to pay then I must of signed up in the wrong online tax
