Please try uninstalling & reinstalling the program. It will not delete any of you saved returns.

I bought the Home and Business package by subscription...it arrives every year in January. I have a Case #[social security number removed] because I cannot install either the CD or the download. I was told that it is an issue with the last Windows 10 update that made the programs incompatible. Microsoft attempted a fis x by restoring a previous version. That did not work...so when will this be fixed...I am not interest in the online version and there is less than 60 days before I am required to file.
Can you please make sure that you are running as the admin and that in your Windows User Name that there is no space. It seems as when there is a space in the name it stops the software from loading.
I was both the owner and administrator on my Windows 10 Pro version 1909 Computer. The fix I found was that I had to create a new user and make them/it the administrator, then reboot computer. Install Turbo Tax 2019 as the original boot up user... not administrator. You will be asked for administrator's permission, give it and continue install. This worked for me and also some other programs I had problems installing now installed as well. (Nero 2016 and Blackberry desktop software are examples that myself and other people have a problem with as well. They both install now on my Windows 10 Pro version 1909 computer. ) I hope this is also a fix for other users as well.
