Received e-mail:"You have a message from the tax expert you spoke with." The provided link goes to Intuit but logging in doesn't yield a message. E-mail response bounces.

So, there's no way to get the message (I had been speaking with the representative earlier) and there's no way to debug this since trying to respond to the e-mail was bounced by Intuit.
