Self-Employed secondary applicant

Hi 

I upgraded to the Self-Employed product, however as the primary applicant I am a permanent worker, it is my spouse who is self-employed. 

Do I need to start again but with my spouse at the primary applicant?

No need to start over!

When you choose to prepare your return together with your spouse, you have to prepare both returns in the same version. So, if TurboTax Self-Employed is the right choice for one of you, you'll prepare both returns in that version.

TurboTax tailors the experience to what you enter in the Profile section for each person. So, if you enter that you don't have self-employment income or expenses, TurboTax won't prompt you for that stuff as you prepare the parts of the return that apply to you.
