I am using income splitting with my wife. It adds the amount to her income but it does not take it off mine.

I am using income splitting with my wife. It adds the amount to her income but it does not take it off mine.

She has to have a split amount added on line 116 and you should have a corresponding deduction on line 210. It is in different sections , please verify on printed or PDF copy of T1
