Should the taxes deducted (Box 22) on my T4A and my T4 add up on my Deductions Summary Page?

What do I do if they do not add up?

T4 & T4A box 22 - calculate on line 43700 of your Detailed Tax Summary page.

Top left corner of your screen, where you see your refund/amount owing, there is a little arrow that you can open then click on"View Detailed Tax Summary".

If you had Québec provincial income tax deducted:

• If you are a resident of Québec, the Québec income tax withheld is not included on line 43700, but transferred to your Québec TP1.
• If you are not a resident of Québec, the Québec income tax withheld is included on line 43700.
