Simultaneously input spouses returns in turbotax i did i prior years but not 2018

both returns would appear in bottom of turbotax (pc version) and i could switch between the two made it easy to do pension splitting

Please make sure that you are preparing the return jointly.

  1. If you’re in the EasyStep interview, select Forms at the top of your screen.
  2. In Forms view, open the View menu and select Personal Information.
  3. On the Personal Information window, make sure the box for Process spouse’s return as well is checked.
  4. If it is not checked, then do so. Follow the on-screen prompts to enter your spouse’s personal information, and select OK.
  5. To return to the EasyStep interview, select EasyStep at the top of your screen. Follow the prompts to enter your and your spouse’s information throughout the interview.
