The Turbo Tax Estimator gives a VASTLY different result from the actual tax calculator. How can that be ???
The estimator suggests I will get $1788 refund, where as the calculator says only $750. How can there be such a vast discrepancy. I am a 19 year old student, and only earned $8682 and only paid tax of $649, and CPP contributions of $350. I just don't get it. Why is this ?

Hello, could be the province you live in re benefits and credits and tax percentage. sometimes the province you reside needs to be entered and or changed as this often is a common error/omittance.
