Increasing Tax Withheld
If you want to increase the amount of tax withheld, simply fill out a new Form TD1, and give it to your employer.
If you are an employer and an employee wishes to change the amount of tax withheld, the employee must first complete a new Form TD1.
Decreasing Tax Withheld
If you want to reduce the amount of income tax your employer withholds, first you have to submit Form T1213 to your nearest tax center.
