When I enter my T4, box 56 automatically fills in. However, on my paper T4, there is nothing in this box. What do I do?

If the province of employment is Quebec, then that box will fill in automatically with the amount in box 14 as per the CRA.

If you did not work in Quebec, please change the province to the correct one, and the box should become empty.

If you worked in Quebec but your T4 slip shows that you are exempt from PPIP/QPIP (box 28), then pleas scroll to the bottom of the page and select “Yes” next to PPIP/QPIP 28.
