When I install Turbo Tax 2023, I got error 1310 message: “Error writing to file : C:\Program Files (x86)\TurboTax 2023\chrome_elf.dll. Verify that you have access to ..”

It asked me to verify that I have access to that directory. What does it mean?

Are you using the CD? If so, please try using the download from our website instead. You can download the current version of TurboTax CD/download edition here:  Choose the 2023 TurboTax edition you need (for Windows). 

 

Also please make sure that there is no anti-virus or security software blocking the program.
