Where do I report income from a court settlement from a bankrupt company?

company owed me a substantial amount of unpaid wages.  they went bankrupt.

After investigation, Ministry of labour issued a director order to pay.  I settled for 50% .  former director issued me a personal cheque for the amount.

It is strongly recommended that you contact the CRA with the specific details of your issue for advice. Should the payment meet the definition of employment income, without a  T4 you could enter as Other Income.
