Why couldn't the program access my wife's CRA account info even though she has an online account?

I used the Turbotax feature which allows me to enter me & my wife's return info together.  It had no trouble downloading my CRA info but it failed trying to get my wife's info even though it said we were successfully connected.  The program then stalled and when i shut it down to go back to the beginning it lost all the previously entered info from my CRA account. I tried several times.  There was no box that would allow me to add her username or password on the CRA site which was probably the problem.

It's most likely that you need to log out of your account on the CRA website before you sign into your wife's CRA account. If you don't see an option to log out after you've imported your info, try opening a new browser window and going to https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/e-services/e-services-individuals/account-individua... log out, and return to the TurboTax product and launch the CRA import from there.

I'd recommend manually saving your return first before going into your wife's account so you don't lose your info.
