Why does my total income tax deducted (line 437 of my return) not equal the total from my T4 slips?

I entered numbers from box 22 of three separateT4s  (Pension, OAS and employment) and I can see them where they are entered individually. When I look at the summary or the printed return I get a different total than adding them on a calculator, by several hundred dollars. Please explain. Thanks. John

If you have split part of your pension with your spouse the related portion of tax withheld is transferred as well.
