Why does TurboTax have fields for boxes 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40 and 86 on the T4 entry page, when the T4 says not to report these amounts?

TurboTax refers to the amounts in those boxes to help make sure your return is complete and accurate.

For example, if you have an amount in box 31, TurboTax will suggest you might be eligible for the Northern Residents deduction.
